Description

Baby on the Move and Music is for babies who are becoming more mobile. Through a hand picked range of materials the children are able to explore and increase their sensorial experiences. At this age the world is one big experiment and children naturally move on from asking ‘what is it?’ to ‘what does it do?’ and ‘what can I do with it?’. The gentle aromatherapy, singing and guitar build on the calming tone of the 6-12 month class bringing a more active and dynamic energy as the children become more mobile. The class finishes with an interactive music session with plenty of actions, props and instruments.

Classroom Setup: At this age children are transitioning from crawling to toddling so our classroom is set out at floor level enabling independent movement around the whole space while always having that reassuring line of sight with their parent/carer. The free flow classroom enables your child to practice their independence, social skills and further develop their skills through which ever schema is currently captivating their attention.

What is a schema?

  • My daughter has been attending the Baby Moves & Music classes, and both she and I have loved them. She has loved meeting other babies and slowly interacting with them, whilst I have loved to see my daughter flourish with the independence that these classes encourage in our children. The singing is always fun and the little duckies are a huge hit - we can’t wait for our class every week!
