Description

Baby Moves and Music is a class for babies from sitting to walking, involving the wonder of The Treasure Basket and woven together in a magical way following the baby’s lead, listening to and echoed by voice and instruments. The treasure baskets are filled to the brim with items offering rich sensorial experiences for touch, smell, taste, sound and sight, and for the sixth sense of bodily movement. The tone of this class is calming with gentle aromatherapy, singing and guitar.

There is also time for feeding and questions.

Classroom Setup: Each child has their own treasure basket to explore. Parents/Carers are seated directly behind their child to provide reassurance and support as the basket is explored. In the second half of the class baskets of props and musical instruments are handed round so that each child gathers together their own musical treasure basket while we sing songs together.

She has loved meeting other babies and slowly interacting with them, whilst I have loved to see my daughter flourish with the independence that these classes encourage in our children.
