“Children are human beings to whom respect is due, superior to us by reason of their innocence and of the greater possibilities of their future.”
~ Maria Montessori
At Paint Pots Montessori School The Boltons, SW10 we offer the children a very unique experience. The school building is set in a beautiful church hall surrounded by magnificent gardens. When outdoors, the children have the opportunity to experience the wonders of nature, the freedom to work with classroom activities, arts, crafts and imaginative play. In the indoor setting, through Montessori materials and environment, the children develop their independence, concentration and creativity, as well as their social, language and motor skills. The Boltons teaching team is under the guidance of Jess Llewelyn.
At this Montessori School, our team are passionate about developing the children’s interest in the outdoors and have created a beautiful environment for the children, offering them free access out from the main classroom . This space gives the children opportunities, on a daily basis, to work and have fun with arts, crafts and messy play in a safe, outdoor area. There are also great benefits to have a free-flow classroom including fresh air, independence and physical expression.
At our Montessori School at The Boltons, children can attend daily from 2 years to 5 years.
Paint Pots House Creative Classes are held in the upstairs room of the same venue. Our experienced artists, musicians and Montessori teachers, including our founder Georgina Hood, continue to offer accompanied classes for babies from 6 months (Treasure Basket and Heuristic Play) and Sensorial, Art, Music and Early Montessori for children up to 2 and a half years. In the afternoons, we provide unaccompanied Art and Yoga classes for Children aged 3-6 years.
Through these combined experiences the children who attend Creative Classes from 6 months and transition into our Montessori School at 2 years old gain the 360 degree education which is most important, as they move forward through life. We like to work closely with the families and parents are encouraged to come into the school to share their passions and experiences. We believe communication between home and school to be vital.
