Deputy Head Teacher, Special Needs and Early Montessori Coordinator

Alma gained degrees in Child Psychology and Education from the Metropolitan University in Mexico City. She later on gained a diploma from having studied The Early Childhood Montessori and is currently studying for The Early Years Foundation at The Open University. During this time Alma had also completed a course in sign language. Alma was born and grew up in Mexico City. When she was twenty-three she move to Paris, to experience the French Culture and Civilisation at the Sorbonne University. A few years later she decided to move to England to continue to develop her career. As soon as she moved to London she studied Early Childhood at the Montessori Centre International.
Alma has been married four years and recently gave birth to her daughter. Spanish is her mother tongue but she also speaks French and English. During her free time she likes to knit, read, sew and swim.

Group Teacher: Health and Safety & Risk Assessment Officer, First Aid

Jess joined Chelsea Paint Pots in April 2010. This is her first teaching job since graduating with an AMI Montessori Diploma. After finishing school Jess did a textiles degree. In her spare time she loves to do arty things. Jess also loves to travel and In 2009, she spent 6 months in India living and working at an Orphanage. "It was tough but an amazing experience". Whilst she was out there she read the book, "Shantaram" which is incredible I would highly recommend it. Jess loves to cook but admits she is not the greatest cook in the world, however she cooks great roast potatoes and says if she could eat anything it would be Sushi as its her absolute favourite.

Group Teacher: Acting SENCO, First Aid

Karina joined Paint Pots in September 2008, which is when her marvellous Montessori adventure began.Karina took up Early Childhood studies, which broadened her knowledge regarding 'little people'. She stongly believes the best thing about being with children is that there's never a dull moment! Her other passion is cooking and must say it she is a great cook! When she plans her travels she always links her choices to the cuisine of a particular country. Karina enjoys going to galleries and making felt creatures. At the moment apart from studying she is working on felt fairy tale characters. Karina adores great English outdoors. She regularly joins her friends and goes trekking in the countryside.Karina gained her BA in TEFL in Poland in 2001. Since then she has been teaching both children and adults.After coming to London she joined a nursery in North London as a nursery assistant, during that time she qualified as a nursery nurse (NVQ3). When coming to Paint Pots in 2008, Karina embarked upon a Montessori course.
 

Ellie Misselbrook

Ellie graduated from a BA honours Acting degree at Leeds University in 2005.Ellie has always loved the creative arts and is extremely passionate about comedy, last year Ellie performed in the comedy farce ‘A Flea in her Ear’ at the Questor’s theatre where she is currently a member.  In her spare time Ellie loves dancing, visiting the Theatre, skiing and sailing. Ellie loves being part of a team at Paint Pots and is always here to listen, support and help with any school enquiries. Ellie joined Paint Pots in June 2010. Ellie will be happy to answer any questions regarding registering your child for the nursery school's waiting list and any queries about termly invoices.
