"At Paint Pots the Ethos is to follow the child and see each and every one of them as an individual while providing a 360 degree education” ~ Georgina Hood
In the mid-80s, after several years of training as a young educationalist, Georgina Hood founded Paint Pots Montessori Nursery School in Bayswater and Paint Pots House, Creative Classes. The initial success of this school and Paint Pots House led to the development of The Paint Pots Montessori Nursery Schools and family. Chelsea Paint Pots was established in 1995 and Hyde Park Paint Pots followed in 2004.
All three Paint Pots Montessori Schools are MEAB accredited and has recently launched the first Montessori Prep School in Chelsea, namely Picasso House. The School opened its doors to children from the ages of 5-11 years of age and is celebrated on a daily basis by parents, teachers and children. Paint Pots is renowned as being one of the best Montessori Schools in the UK and with Picasso House having just opened, there is already a huge demand from parents for their children to attend the school.
Paint Pots Montessori Schools has a worldwide international fan base reflecting the high-end reputation of the group and the results of the Montessori education the children are acquiring. The reputation of Paint Pots spreads by word of mouth from one family to another and enjoys a strong following of loyal supporters. There is a sense of being part of a large family with the Paint Pots ethos. Paint Pots Family consists of thousands of individuals from all walks of life and many have gone on to become successful entrepreneurs.
Paint Pots Montessori Schools prides itself on its history and finds old students revisiting the schools to support the many current projects. Families are strongly encouraged to become part of the Paint Pots culture and the majority participate in charitable events, school open days and discussions with notable speakers.
Georgina Hood has created and built five Montessori Schools across London. She delivers an invaluable gift to all the children within the community of Paint Pots. These gifts are ‘lessons in life’ and are found through the Montessori way of teaching. Enabling a child to grow and develop through their own speed and time in a happy and carefully designed Montessori environment. These skills follow the children’s next steps into their school and will sub-consciously be a part of their everyday learning until they graduate and step out into the world to follow them in everyday life.
At Paint Pots, the ethos is to follow the child and see each and every one of them as an individual while providing a 360-degree education.
